Cara Albo

Ms. Albo has served as our Executive Producer since early 2006. She is responsible for the worldwide production, marketing and distribution of all Skyline filmed entertainment, including motion pictures, television, cable, syndication, home entertainment and interactive entertainment. During her tenure at Skyline, she has managed to gather some of the best talent in western Canada to work on Skyline's debut feature film Cats Cradle, due out 2008.

Ms. Albo has enjoyed many successful performances for various Edmonton theater groups and more recently she recorded her debut CD "Embrace Me" which will have its cd release show on Jan 24 2009. Tickets on sale with ticketmaster.

Ms. Albo is in charge of Cats Cradle and is currently busy with her post-production duties. Ms. Albo has a long history of production experience and has been heavily involved in the entertainment industry her entire life. Ms Albo , knew from the age of 9 that this business was one she would call her own one day as she landed lead roles in plays put on by various community theatres. No one would argue that Ms. Albo is the soul behind Skyline Motion Pictures and Skyline's success is a direct result of her efforts. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated visionary at the helm of Skyline Motion Pictures.

 

Darren Dahlseide - Executive Producer

Darren Dahlseide

Mr. Dahlseide is President and Executive Producer at Skyline Motion Pictures. He has been heavily involved in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years.

His experience includes:

  • more than 14 stage plays
  • three television commercials
  • one television pilot
  • one short film
  • four feature films

Also notable is Mr. Dahlseide's twenty-plus years in law enforcement. He is a seasoned veteran who has appeared in numerous productions both as an actor and as a member of the production team. His assignments have included:

Gilbert Allan - Director

Gilbert Allan

About the Producer/Director

Gilbert Allan has been in the performing arts since he was a child. He has worked in film, television, radio and the theatrical stage he loves so much. Twenty-five years as a professional director has taken him into a number of different areas of artistic expression.

Known in the artistic community as an “actor’s director”, Gil himself has performed in 31 professional stage productions (nineteen leading characters), acted in over 90 commercials, appeared in numerous television and video/film roles and has been in six feature films.

The former Senior, Writer/Producer/Director from CFRN TV (CTV Network) and contract Producer/Director with Global TV (CITV) has written, produced and directed hundreds of television commercials.

Infomercials, training films, corporate videos, television specials, etc. make up the body of his work.

Gil directed the feature motion pictures “Winter Kill, HALO, Cat’s Cradle & Green Eyes”. “Winter Kill” aired on the CORUS Entertainment Network of movie channels (Movie Central, etc.) and “HALO” is currently available through “Rogers/Shaw: Video on Demand” and on the CHUM Network. “Green Eyes” is available at Flix Video Rentals as well as, Viewpoint Video and Alternative Video. “Green Eyes” is currently being broadcast on The Academic Channel as part of the University of Haifa, Isreal’s “Education in Film” Program and on the CHUM Network

Spring ‘03 Gil was nominated for an AMPIA (Alberta Motion Picture Industry Award) for Best Director for, “Where the Dinosaurs Roam…” a TV special. “Where the Dinosaurs Roam…” was also nominated for Best Picture. Gil was nominated for Best Director a second time (Spring ’05) for “HALO”. Gilbert won a Much Music “Gold Video” award in 1987 for his directing of Cal Kellett’s, “Just Say So” and his “There Was Light” (Modern Brando) video made the Top 40 in 1988 (and stayed there for 14 straight weeks).

Gil currently teaches acting and motion picture production at Concordia University College of Alberta, Taylor University College and The King’s University College. Gil is the Creative Director at Concordia High School.

Natasha Harychan - Writer

Natasha Harychan

Natasha Harychan was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She is 25 and already has an independent feature film under her belt.

Natasha's career began when a University professor approached her to write a screenplay about University students. Prior to this she found herself writing stage plays and short form screenplay projects for her University drama courses and public exhibition. Once she had her first taste of feature film-making she was hooked and as a result, has been a screenwriter for over three years.

In addition to screenwriting, Natasha has been an actor for six years. Her resume spans the gamut from television to theatre to film.

Natasha grew up with a passion for the entertainment industry. Choosing to forfeit school work to watch television, she knew that it was only a matter of time before she would be a part of this business. Since Natasha's first film entitled, "Green Eyes" an independent feature film, she has worked as a story editor and is currently working on a second feature film for a local director.

In her spare time, Natasha enjoys acting, viewing films and spending time with her friends and family.

 

Marc Presseau - Associate Producer

Marc Presseau

Marc Presseau currently enjoys a lengthy career in Law Enforcement and is one of the founders of, and vice-president of Skyline Motion Pictures Inc. The grandfather of thirteen has been instrumental in the development of Cat's Cradle at the pre-production stage.

Marc was an associate producer on the feature film, Halo where he met Gilbert Allan. They immediately clicked and have been friends and associates since. Marc is an accomplished and published, still photographer. He has also worked on other independent film projects in the Edmonton area including his involvement with Chester Sit and his film, Feng Shua.

An avid automotive buff, one of Marc's primary responsibilities on Cat's Cradle is orchestrating, securing and safety inspecting all the automobiles and transportation arrangements during production.

 

 

 

Joanna Torguson - Associate Producer

Joanna Torguson

Ms. Torguson is in charge of marketing and media publications at Skyline Motion Pictures. Ms. Torguson is a multi-talented individual with a flair for creativity and organization.

Ms. Torguson is an active musician, writer, and artist and keeps busy behind-the-scenes of many stage productions. She is the co-founder of Script II Screen Film Festival, a Western Canadian event for Young Christian filmmakers, and founder of the Aurora Youth Choir in Fort McMurray.
